  1. What tools can you give me to start over? 

Through the process of Timeline Therapy, we will work through the tools that work best for you for the best outcome. It all depends on the individual and in session, we will discuss the strategies and tools you are currently using which may not be working for you and come up with different tools and strategies that will work for you and your future. 

2. What is the unconscious mind and how can your work help me overcome my stress, anxiety and grief? 

The unconscious mind is thoughts, feelings, urges and memories that are outside of our conscious mind which we are not aware of. All Learning behaviours change is unconscious. For example, there may be an event or situation in your past that has caused you stress and anxiety and you are in a cycle of getting stressed and anxious because of it. The work I do uncovers the event or situation and together we work through the process to leave you in a state that when stressful events or anxiety comes to the surface, you are able to cope in a better and more positive manner. Which involves the tools, I will give you and the strategies that you will practice daily. 

3. How can I manage my self-care and how do I fit it in my day when I am so busy?

The most important element people forget in their daily lives is to make self-care a priority. The number 1 person you need to look after is you! Managing self-care is challenging for most women because we give to children, loved ones and husbands or partners because we believe that’s the right thing to do. Here is one thing you can do to manage your self-care today… Find a time in the day, whether it be morning, noon, or night where you switch off from the outside world and just be with you and do what you enjoy. Ensure that you communicate it with your family and friends and let them know IT’S YOUR TIME. You and your relationships will be better for it. 

4. How can you help me express myself in a healthy way to build relationships and the life I want? 

I use active listening skills and together we explore what communication issues you may be having and how you see your relationships developing.

6. Where are you located, and can you travel to a destination?

I am located on the Gold Coast, Queensland. I can travel within the area. I also provide Sessions over Zoom and Skype for women that prefer a session in the comfort of their home. 

7. What are the benefits of Timeline Therapy?

The Timeline Therapy process is to assist a person in finding the root cause or first event of the negative emotions or where the limiting decisions came from. For example, if someone is stressed underlying fears (emotion) can trigger the behaviour of stress.

Timeline Therapy model has become widely known as one of the most effective methods for creating quick, lasting change for an individual.

8. What are the benefits of Counselling? 

Counselling is a more holistic approach that we explore what is coming up for you and allow the session to unfold the way it does. I mainly use a Person-Centred approach and may use other approaches depending on the individual. Through different kinds of questioning, exploring and unpacking, the more the person understands and can acknowledge how they can move forward in their life.
